Offer: Plus sized clothes (56th and Pacific)

Posted by: "sevent1nomad" sevent1nomad@msn.com   sevent1nomad

Sat Aug 15, 2009 3:54 pm (PDT)

I have a large amount of plus sized clothes that I need to give away. In good condition, but they got a slight bit damp at my garage sale. There are jeans, capris, t shirts, sweat pants, some stuff from Lane Bryant with tags still attached, etc. Lots of good stuff and it is mostly younger style clothing. I would really like this to go to someone who REALLY needs it. When I lost weight someone blessed me with a bunch of smaller sized clothing, and I would like to do the same for someone else.

Must be picked up today ASAP.

ROCK THE BOOKS THIS SATURDAY

Dyno Jamz defies classification. They are an unique combination of cool jazz and really hot hip hop. The eight musician band - with horns, drums, bass, keyboards and an MC were the first place winners of the Experience Music Project's 2009 Sound off competition. They are the featured band for Tacoma Public Library's ROCK THE BOOKS - a free all-ages concert at 7 p.m. on Saturday, August 15 at the downtown Main Library. Opening for the Seattle-based group is STARSTRUCK - an all-girl 'tween' band playing covers of classic rock & contemporary songs as well as their own original music. More information is available by telephoning the library at (253) 591-5666 or on the concert web site www.rockthebooks.org.

Dyno Jamz began when 7 musicians from UW Seattle with jazz training and a passion for hip hop came together for a jam session in early 2008. The crew acquired a talented emcee and began performing. The band cites a combination of influences from Miles Davis to Tower of Power.

Opening the evening is Tacoma's popular 'tween' band STARSTRUCK. The band plays their own material and covers including Nirvana, Hole, and Paramore. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
