WANTED: Vintage or vintage "look" items(Lakewood)-
Posted by: "Kat" LdyKat1971@hotmail.com ldykat1971
Wed Jul 8, 2009 7:27 pm (PDT)
Good evening. :)
I am looking for some vintage or vintage look items to redo the kitchen. Anything that looks like 20s-50s would be great. I'm not a collector or reseller, I just want to redo the kitchen, and the stuff at the antique places and from private sellers is out of my budget.
Examples of small and medium scale items I'd like to find: old wooden bucket and/or crate, lanterns, buckets, watering can, tins, signs, magazines, old fashioned iron(not with a cord, please), metalware, dishes, utensils, cookie cutters, wash board, spice tins, cookie tins, and old glass/bottles, spoon rest, trivets. Made from copper, porcelain, tin/metal, milk glass. Things that are rustic and kitcheny, or would look good in a kitchen, and/or anything that is/looks vintage, I'd give a very nice, caring home to and would NEVER sell it.
I can pick up any day w/24 hour notice so I can get the car, and I would be willing to drive some.
Thanks for looking and for considering my request, and have a great evening. :)
Kat

OFFERED: Several Large Ice Cream and Cat Litter Buckets(Lakewood)-
Posted by: "Kat" LdyKat1971@hotmail.com ldykat1971
Wed Jul 8, 2009 10:25 pm (PDT)
Good evening. :)
I have 3 or 4 large, round, plastic ice cream buckets with handles(I think one doesn't have a lid, but the rest do) and two large square "freezer friendly" ones, also with handles and lids.
When my kids were little, I used ice cream buckets for Legos, play cars, action figures, marbles, all manner of little toys. I've also used them for small buckets, to store food for picnics from house to destination, and hubs has used some for storing his "man" odds and ends. They can also be used for pet bowls or planters--the uses are practically endless.
I also have 6 of the 28 lb size cat litter buckets. I know at least one has a lid, and I might find at least one more lid.
If you would like them, reply with an exact day/time you can pick up. I'm home all day most days, and if I'm not, someone will be. I just need you to tell me when YOU can pick up so we know when to expect you. Please do not ask me to call you. Email communication works best for me.
We live in Lakewood near Pierce Transit bus shop.
Thanks for looking and have a great night. :)

I can pick up all day on weekends if it's pretty far from Lakewood.
Thanks for looking and have a great night. :)
