Week 5: Spring Cleaning -- Final Round Up
Before that, I'd like to take the time to remind our members of a few things...
If you commit to picking an item up, please pick it up. If you change your mind or cannot make it afterall, please let the member know.
Please remember to add Your Home Location to the end of all posts submitted to the group.
Lastly, please use the body of the message to describe items. We don't need to know the reason you are asking for the item.
Now back to Spring Cleaning! =)
Ok, this is the final week of the Spring Cleaning. We've already gotten to most of your stuff. This is our last chance to clear out before the outdoor season hits. So go back over the areas we've already covered for any objects you may have changed your mind on.
This is also a good time to check through your storage areas. After all, if you haven't already, you're about to pull out all the lawn chairs and lawn games that have been in storage for the last year.
Won't it be so much easier to put everything away afterward if the space is clear?
Again, will you be upgrading your bbq and picnic equipment? Go ahead and offer the old one. Someone will be happy to take it off your hands.
THE SHOP and or GARAGE:
What old tools have you replaced but not disposed of the old one?
What will you do with those old flower pots and tomato cages?
Nails and screws coming out of the cracks Offer some to someone who needs a few.
Extra hoses we could all use one.
Old building materials left over-- you'd be amazed how some people just need a little bit and yours would help.
THE OUTSIDE OF YOUR HOUSE:
Old hose or hose reels?
Plants that need thinned out?
Broken tree limbs that would be good to burn next fall?
Patio Furniture you think you will replace this year?
Old grills?
Extra landscaping timbers, patio blocks, pavers, bricks?
If this didn't stimulate your brain, then maybe you don't have anything to post up, but I think you could find something. Old film containers, empty fruit baskets, meat trays, egg cartons, and the list goes on as far as your imagination. But I still dare you to go look in all those corners, crooks and crannies of your homes and see what you can find. You'd be amazed!!!!
Thanks for reading and playing along!
