First of all, a wonderful and happy new year to each of you! I'm glad to be able to pass on the news that we've grown by 20% over the past year, adding about 1.4 million new members globally. Overall, more than 9 million items were gifted in this past year! That's a pretty incredible number and each of you represent a special part of that growth. We'd like to keep this growth going in the new year and we have a good shot at a grant that'll help us get there, but only with your help...
Freecycle has qualified for the Pepsi "Refresh Everything" contest and whichever cause gets the most votes wins. Each of you are allowed to vote once a day. So, that means the spirited amongst us can vote for Freecycle up to 29 times! Alas, the contest is only for the month of January starting the third. So, vote early, vote often (i.e. daily) and tell your friends. You can vote by going directly here:
