1.: New Chat Feature Now Available for Yahoo! Groups

Hello Freecycle(TM) Members!

There's a new chat feature for Yahoo! Groups!!!

Apologies for an unscheduled ADMIN, but we wanted to let everyone know about an exciting feature to our site.

We have had several members inquire as to whether we plan to allow our group to use the new chat feature that Yahoo! Groups have created. We feel that this feature would be better used in our Cafe rather than the parent group.

If you would like to talk to other members of our group that are part of our community, please join our Cafe. Once there, you will see a link on the left side of the site that you can click to join the chat room.

You can join at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TacomaAreaFreecycle_Cafe/

If we start getting complaints that members are abusing this feature, we will shut it down. There will be no Moderators in the chat room to monitor the discussions so please be the kind, considerate, community that we know you are. As this is an age appropriate site, Yahoo! Groups have made it so no one under the age of 18 is allowed in the chat rooms. They go by birthday that was used at the time you signed up for your email account.

If you see inappropriate messages in chat, as a member, you can take the following actions:

· "Mute" the user: You can make messages from a particular user disappear from your viewing window by selecting the Mute button that appears when you mouse over the user's profile in the list of who is the group. Until you "unmute" the user, you will not see any of messages he or she writes. Please note that other members of the group will still see messages from the user.

· Contact your group's Moderators: You can send the Moderators an email at the owners email address if you find that a member is being inappropriate. Please make sure to send us the username that was used in the chat room. The Moderators have the ability to temporarily ban a member from the chat room or if there is cause to permanently remove them, they must be removed from the Cafe.

We know that we have a wonderful group of members so we are willing to try out the chat feature on the Cafe. We hope everyone has a wonderful experience with it. Feel free to let us know what you think about it by either sending an email to the Moderators or in a post on the Cafe.

Perfect condition. Haven't been able to wear it in a few winters due to a pregnancy...would like to find it a new needing owner. Has fleece on the inside, hood, zipper in excellent condition...also has magnetic closure flap over zipper. Pockets inside and out. Clean with no stains. Non-smoking home, do have a dog. Perfect weight for recent weather!

I have about 4 or 5 of these plants. They bloom really pretty, I just dont like where they are located on my property. They are about 4ft high maybe and have buds on them. You will need to get them dug up, so if you are interested please bring your own shovel and maybe a small truck. You could put them in the trunk of a car, but not sure you would be able to shut it.

Most are size 12 month. Few with light staining, but all wearable. A few 12-18 month including a pair of Sunday pants with matching vest!

I have 11 of the quart sized jars w/lids, the "self sealing" type, by Kerr. These are oven safe. Dusty, but never used, pet friendly but nonsmoking home.

I am going to Mississippi on Wednesday and looking for at least 2 small to medium suitcases that I can carry 4 trashbags worth of clothes in. Anything decent and not torn/ too soiled will do. Dosen't even have to match. Meetup place can be agreed upon. I am close to the Denny's on 108th st by the dealerships.:)

I have about 5 garbage bags full of mens t-shirts xl, jeans 40x32, some plus size womens clothes, a bag of some shoes, some nice mocha colored curtains 2 sets 2 panels each with sheer curtain for each set. They are nice and big, and long.They fit my sliding glass door or can also fit a reg window. There is also a burgendy sheer curtain, a fleece womans robe and much much more......very nice stuff. You must take all bags and re-free cycle what you dont want.

E-mail me for pick-up address. I want these picked up tomorrow, if you can't pick up tomorrow or are going to be a no-show DON"T E-MAIL. I don't have time to waste.

This is a trash bag of random kids toys, I had to clean out the toy box pretty fast so my daughter wouldn't realize what was happening lol so I'm not sure exactly what is in there. Mostly toys for toddlers with some stuffed animals and noise makers. Please let me know what day and time you will be able to pick this up. Thank you!
