Offer: Freecycle Traveling Treasure Box (Manitou-So. Tacoma)

The box arrived on Monday.
We checked it out on Tuesday.
I filled it up on Wednesday.
Now am offering it on Thursday.
Will send it out on Friday!!!!

Here is the list of what I left in the box:
Four plastic table mats with lemons on them (used w/Playdough);
Small cubish bookend with a lion on it (kid's room);
Two glass votive holders with gifts etched on sides (glade);
One sea foam color saucer sized candle plate;
Small, magazine sized decorative wicker and metal basket;
Five kids gift bags (power rangers&two misc.); 2 Packs of Cards - Go Fish & Memory Match; Kid's VHS: Winnie the Pooh "day for Eeyore& everything roses", Friend like me Disney sing along;
Old maid/goldfish/ matching dollar store playing cards (kids); kid's 24 piece puzzle; 2 decks of cards: Scion and Turtle wax;
Scooby Doo candle; 3 Tadoodle crayon buddies (need new crayon insert); VHS Movies - Little Mermaid,Cinderella, Snow White,Prince of Egypt,Little People; small blue cloth bows-Christmas decoration
Plugins - Empty - Refills available at stores; Water bottle; 6 white soup bowls with gold edges

Here is what I added:
Half used Huckleberry Hound coloring book; 6" square white framed character drawing of the moon-new; 2 reusable mylar balloons; Appetizers cookbook and a Food processor Cookbook; taps for lady's tap shoes; 8 ft. telephone cord-from phone to wall outlet; Ladies beer stein from Germany; Box of misc.-2 new chap sticks, silver chain necklace, lapel pin from Disneyland, clown stick pin, pierced earrings, plastic nose for Halloween, Christmas glass bell, Halloween earrings, agate, Hong Kong coin, car wash coin, 3 rubber stamps; Men's cologne Old Spice; Coke Bottle in Spanish; Bottle of Pear Cider; Joyce Carol Oats stories; Mystery story; Square bud vase; Scarf for winter; Sport bag-large; 2 trivets-one with a pig on it, 2 wild animals on other one; 2 black 3" three ring binders; Shower head; Mr. Coffee Machine-10 cup w/filters & travel cup; CD Classical music-Haydn-The Seasons; Huskey Memoriabilia-Bottle of Pigskin Punch-never opened; Air freshner-oil with sticks; Posters-laminated-small Guatemala woman, Rain Forest of the World, Endangered Species, Water Cycle Systems, Renoir, Muppets At the Science Center; Cassette tape Music of South American and Carly Simon.

It looks like a lot and it got heavy fast! It was so much fun to find goodies to give away. I am ready to do it again! It would be fun to see a holiday/seasonal treasure box go around.

since there is so much I want to give it to several replies. from pants, jeans, and coats, to dresses, shirts and summer tops. most size 18-20W. a few smaller sizes thrown in too. please, first come first gets. if you are a no show, you go on my bad list and will get banned from future posts.

Daughter is starting strings in school and is thrilled so if you have a viola laying around collecting dust I have a lil one that would put it to very good use. How exciting! The Tacoma Area Freecycle(TM) Traveling Treasure Box is on the move for the 6th time!

But before we go into that... We would like to thank all of our members for their patience and understanding while trying this fun community offering out. We have received many responses from our members saying that they love the idea and like how the ADMINs help them keep track of where the box is headed. However, we have decided to change this a bit by not sending this ADMIN as a Special Notice. Now, it will be sent as a normal post as we would like to save the ADMINs for important announcements to the group. We hope that by doing this, it will please everyone. =)

One thing we would like to mention before telling you who the next lucky participant is that when asking for items, please be polite! Just stating "I want it!" most likely will *not* get you the items you are asking for. A simple "Please" and "Thank You" goes a long way.

Now, onto our regularly scheduled program...

Our lucky participant *drum-roll please* Julie FOUND the Treasure Box!!

Will you be the next lucky member to find the Traveling Treasure Box? There will be only 5 more lucky participants before the Treasure Box ends for this round.
