Hello Freecycle(TM) Members,

We've recently gotten a few complaints from people who've responded to Freecycle(TM) offers and been gifted the item, only to find out that the item was not as described. Yes, everything is free, and no, no one is saying that items need to be brand new; but simply be *honest* and as accurate as possible in your description of whatever you're offering, out of courtesy to your fellow group members and out of respect for others' time. Just because gas prices have decreased by a few cents, it doesn't mean we want to be expending it more quickly. ;^)

Seriously tho', folks. If that mismatched set contains mostly chipped dishes with a whole one or two, please *say so*. Person A might not want it to grace his dinner table, but person B might want it to complete her mosaic art project. If gifting Christmas lights, please take the time to plug them in to make sure they still work as they get tossed around and stop working. Yep, even in the box from the previous year, strands somehow stop working!

If it's used but usable (and free, legal, and appropriate), it's welcome here. Let's just not waste each other's time and make our atmosphere more toxic while we keep items from the landfill; that would be sort of counter-productive.

And by all means.. if the item is trash--please place it in the trash.

Half circle door mat/kitchen rug. In good shape, backing intact, faint dirty stains. Natural color with black trim. I would be using it but I washed it once and it curls up slightly and my door won't always open over it. I don't need it anywhere else in the house, so thought someone else could put it to good use!

I have two identical Eureka Optima lightweight uprights. They both will only work for about 10 minutes before the suction completely burns out and they can't be used again for a day.

Not useful as vacuums, but I imagine the parts might be useful to someone, so I thought I'd try freecycle before taking them to scrap metal recycling.

In great condition! You can sit and move it w/ your feet and gobble up shapes or lift seat up and push it. Good for kids that are new at walking. Shapes not included.
