I am looking for anything to pull the kids on behind the boat. I am trying not to buy anything new as I heard that this is the best way to help curb our consumer society.

Our couch is SO ugly, old & ripped up

Im embarrassed to have friends or family come over. We tried a slip cover but it didnt work.

If anyone has a descent unwanted couch & loveseat or a sectional I can pick it up in Tacoma or close areas.

I want to get rid of this one ASAP but gotta get a replacement 1st so we're not sitting on the floor

This is a great 1970s velvet/velour sofa-bed in fair to good condition. It has dark wooden decorative trim along the upper back edge, and is actually kind of pretty in its 1970s way. It is a somewhat taller couch--the back is higher than your head while sitting down on it. It has an orange and brown flower motif (large flowers), on what was a creamy white background--now silvery gray with age. It is 6 feet long and has a queen-sized mattress inside, but honestly, it is not the most comfortable bed to sleep on (just so you don't get your hopes up).

It's a little old and tired looking, but seats are still firm, with only a few dings here and there in the fabric along the base and trim, if you look for them, from going through doorways that were too small.

Comes from a non-smoking home, but we have cats and dogs. The pets did NOT ever damage the sofa.

The last freecycler sent someone else to pick up, then didn't like it and we had to fit it back into storage again, so please be sure the person who plans to live with the couch is the person who comes to pick up, just so you know you are happy with it. :)

As with all FreeCycling, we want to be sure this couch ends up in a home where it will be FreeCycled again when you upgrade, instead of tossed in a landfill when you get a new one later. :)
